Retired ex-world champion Max Biaggi has completed three days of testing at Vallelunga in Italy, on board the factory Aprilia World Superbikes of Leon Haslam and Jordi Torres.

The WorldSBK champion of 2010 and 2012 carried out the run at his home circuit as Aprilia Racing looked to be as prepared as possible ahead of the first ever Chang Thai round next weekend.

“We have testing various solutions, some of which have benefited us and others which need to be assessed further, as is normal when testing like this,” Biaggi said. “Needless to say, I have enjoyed getting back into the saddle – it always flicks a switch inside me, giving a very positive feeling.”

Biaggi – who also tested at Jerez earlier this year – was joined at Vallelunga by Aprilia test rider Daniele Veghini, who was busy analysing the production RSV4 RF machine.
