Australian Jason O’Halloran is testing in Japan this week, potentially teaming up with countryman Troy Herfoss on the Sakurai Honda team at the Suzuka 8 Hour next month.

Honda Racing British Superbike Championship regular O’Halloran has been impressive in his return to BSB’s premier class in 2015, currently sixth in the standings after the first three rounds.

Sakurai Honda has already confirmed Australasian Superbike Championship leader Troy Herfoss for Suzuka this season, historically fielding Australian rider combinations in recent years.

It’s expected O’Halloran will make a final decision on his Suzuka participation following this week’s tests, the 2015 running scheduled for 25-26 July.
