Bike: Yamaha MT-07HO

'High Output' edition added to expanded Yamaha MT-07 range.

Yamaha Motor Australia has officially confirmed it has released an MT-07HO, which is a ‘High Output’ version of the popular MT-07 learner-approved model.

Boasting 74.8 horsepower and 68Nm of torque, the 689cc 270-degree parallel twin cylinder is an up-spec option of the learner-approved 655cc MT-07 (52.1hp and 57.5Nm) released locally in 2014.

The MT-07 was originally scaled back for learner approval prior to its Australian release, however Yamaha has now decided to release this HO version alongside the existing model (which has now been upgraded with ABS braking and titled the MT-07LA).

The MT-07HO, which shares the same chassis and running gear as the standard MT-07, is available in Race Blu only and is priced $9999 RRP including GST. It’s not learner approved and not available with ABS braking.
