A who’s who of national superbike racing will line up at Queensland Raceway this Sunday, 26 July, in round two of the club-based Formula Xtreme (FX) Race Series.

With the fourth round of the Australasian Superbike Championship (FX-ASC) set for Queensland Raceway on 14-16 August, top level racers will use the FX event as part of their testing program in the lead-up.

Yamaha Racing Team with Yamaha Motorcycle Insurance (YRT with YMI) will headline the entry list with factory trio Wayne Maxwell, Cru Halliday and Glenn Allerton, on board the factory-prepared YZF-R1Ms.

Australian Outdoor Living-backed Cube Racing riders Mike Jones and Ben Henry will also be in the Superbike mix, joined by fellow national regulars Ben Burke (SA Kawasaki BCPerformance) and Angus Reekie on his thumping KTM.

A surprise entrant comes in the form of South Australian Daniel Falzon (Jon Daniels Racing Yamaha), the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) regular facing the factory YRT entries for the first time.

In Supersport there will also be an influx of national calibre competition, including form Suzuki rider Brayden Elliott, Callum Spriggs (Yamaha), Michael Blair (Yamaha), Troy Guenther (Kawasaki) and more.

On-track action will commence at 9:00am, with four races per category scheduled across Sunday’s stacked format of competition. Visit www.formula-xtreme.com.au for further information.
