Experienced Australian Broc Parkes has pulled out of this weekend’s Thruxton round of the 2015 British Superbike Championship after struggling with arm-pump during the opening practice session.

Parkes recently underwent surgery on his forearms to relieve pressure, however further pain experienced during last weekend’s Suzuka 8 Hours has caused further setbacks for the 33-year-old.

Adam Jenkinson will line up on the second Milwaukee Yamaha at Thruxton alongside Josh Brookes, setting a respectable 15th-fastest lap in his first outing on the factory YZF-R1 in practice two.

Jenkinson currently lines up in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship onboard a Yamaha, where he was a podium finisher earlier in the season at Brands Hatch.
