After a weekend which had many bright spots for the CWM LCR Honda Team, Jack Miller’s race ended early after he crashed out of the race on the eighth lap.

Starting from 16th on the grid, Miller had incredibly made his way up to 12th by the end of lap one in an aggressive showing early on.

Involved in a scrap with several other riders, Miller lost a couple of positions as he struggled with the feel of his Open Honda and this would cost him as he eventually lost control and slid out.

“It was a disappointing way to end a reasonable weekend, because we were pretty happy with how the bike was working,” Miller said. “I ended up having a few problems during the race. It wasn’t quite what I wanted it to be.

“We can’t do anything about it now though, we just need to look forward to getting to Brno and working through the problems that we had in the race here.”

Miller and the CWM LCR Honda Team quickly get another chance to redeem themselves, as they fly straight to the Czech Republic for the next round of the MotoGP World Championship in Brno in just seven days.
