Glenn Allerton: With three wins from four races across the weekend, Allerton snatched his first wins of the year in convincing fashion – it could have been all four save for a penalty in race two on Sunday upon restart. The results will go a long way in his quest for the championship.

Mike Jones: We knew Jones would be supremely strong during his home round of the season and he was. A race one crash kept him off the podium overall, however in race two he managed to grab a race win much to the delight of the locals.

Callum Spriggs: Another impressive young Queenslander, Spriggs won five out of the six Supersport races contested at the ‘Paperclip’. It’s the best form we’ve seen him in since a heap of injuries, so it’s promising to see him back on top of the podium.

Cru Halliday: After a superb win in Sydney, there were plenty of hopes for Halliday coming into QLD and he delivered for the most part, pressuring for victory in each race. But an awkward fall out of race two on Sunday dented his weekend and will make it a whole heap harder to challenge for the title from here. It’s not over, but mistakes now need to be minimised.

Michael Blair: It was a surprise to see Blair exit race two on the warm-up lap of all things, which now puts him 41 points down in the title chase. Before that his Sunday was decent with 2-5 finishes, but another non-point score would have been frustrating.

Ben Burke: Burke has been showing glimpses of speed this season, but crashes out of the second races on both days were disappointing. He was thwarted by bad luck througout the round, but should be strong again come Wakefield Park.
