Troy Herfoss (Team Honda Racing) – 3rd overall:
It was an interesting weekend for many reasons, but ultimately a success for Team Honda Racing. We improved our pace from last year, held onto the championship lead and showed our strength as a team. We can reset now and work on setting the pace for the remainder of the season.

Jamie Stauffer (Team Honda Racing) – 4th overall:
It was a tough weekend for us. The team worked really hard to get the bikes where we needed them to be, but it just didn’t come about for us. It was not for lack of trying from the team or myself. Still, we came away with more points and I feel confident we will be back at the front at round five at Wakefield Park.

Wayne Maxwell (YRT with YMI) – 2nd overall:
I just felt I was a bit off all weekend. We tested here a few weeks ago and my times were good but it doesn’t take much on this track to be a fraction off the pace. Still, we battled all weekend and finished up with a reasonable result and gained some points in the championship, so that was good. We still have a couple of rounds to go, so myself and the team will continue to work hard and finish the championship off strongly. Best wishes go to Cru. I hope he feels better soon and it was a shame to see him go down as he was riding well.

Glenn Allerton (YRT with YMI) – 1st overall:
No doubt it was a relief to finally ride the way I should and get the results both the team and myself expect. Race one Cru and I had a good battle going and I was able to slip by him when he went in too deep on turn three. The wind was really tricky today and made braking difficult and I think it got Cru out a bit then. Race two and we were at it again until he went down. It’s never nice to see a teammate end the day like that and I was really enjoying racing with him. It would have been good to win both races but that’s the way it goes. For me, it just felt good to be back up front and back in the battle again. I think I have finally got my head around what works for me on the R1 so hopefully I can continue with the good form for the remainder of the year.

Ben Burke (SA Kawasaki BCperformance) – 12th overall:
We had another good weekend at QR. I was happy with practice and qualifying giving me a good starting position and I have been working on my starts which has paid off, especially race one on Sunday, where I went from last to fourth in to the first corner. I am very pleased with my overall pace and if it wasn’t for a little bad luck and some errors under pressure the result could have been different. Looking at the positives, I am really pleased with how myself and the team found the extra pace to run near the front and it’s these glimpses of success that keeps me pushing for good results. Thanks to Ronnie and the team for working so hard to keep everything on track!

Evan Byles (SA Kawasaki BCperformance) – 8th overall:
My weekend was very satisfying with personal best times in every session on Friday, with a final lap of qualifying my best with a 1m12.9s. With the help of my mechanics, Kirsty and Jamie, I managed to become consistent with my new speed and worked on building my confidence into the heavy braking areas. The team was as always, great fun to be with for the weekend and it was also fantastic to have my wife Cath with me for the round.

Brayden Elliott (Suzuki) – 4th overall:
Leading into the fourth round of the Australasian Superbike Championship I knew this would be one of the more difficult rounds out of the seven round championship calendar. With only six turns to master the circuit is surprisingly quite difficult with some very long straights it’s important to make everything flow together. The layout doesn’t particularly suit the Hankook Tyres Suzuki compared to the more technical circuits where I can use the strong mid range power of the Suzuki. The team worked well to develop a good setup and I knew we could be extremely competitive to fight for podiums and race wins throughout the weekend. The racing was extremely close and I think the most competitive Supersport racing I have experienced all year. I’m happy with my efforts to maintain the championship lead and finish on the podium in four form six races. Although I made some small mistakes I am always learning and continued to improve each race. Once again the team really worked well together and I thank them for our success and consistency throughout the weekend. The Hankook Tyres Suzuki performed great and I felt as though I could really take advantage of its strong braking performance in some of the key points around the track.” “I’m definitely looking forward to the final three rounds of the championship as we approach the circuits I know quite well.

Kyle Buckley (SA Kawasaki BCperformance) – 9th overall:
It was a very positive weekend, I think that we made a lot of progress and were really starting to get near the leading times. Just chasing that last half second on the leaders. Massive thanks to everyone who put in this weekend, it was great! Looking forward to round five.

Paul Young (SA Kawasaki BCperformance) – 7th overall:
I’m really happy with improving my Supersport lap times on Sunday, down to a point where I can see podiums on the horizon. Supersport race wins are the target, nothing less.

Brandon Demmery (Noise Guard Racing Yamaha) – 16th overall:
I went out for qualifying on tyres that had done two previous sessions. I managed to record a time of 1m15.340s, which I was happy with. I would start the races from P15. Time could be made under braking, but the front-end of the bike I wasn’t happy with. We knew the direction to take, but just not how to get there.
