Movistar Yamaha teammates Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will take part in a two-day test at Motorland Aragon this week ahead of the season’s final stages.

The private test will be held on Thursday and Friday for the factory duo, currently sitting 1-2 in the world championship standings.

The test can help them prepare for the Aragon GP in late September, where Rossi has never won. In addition, it is ideal for testing and adjusting the bikes ahead of the final portion of the championship.

With six races to finish the season, the two Yamaha riders sit at the top of the standings with Rossi leading by 12 points after his amazing victory in the rain at Silverstone.
