There were a number of Moto2 riders present including Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS), Sam Lowes (Speed Up Racing), Takaaki Nakagami (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia), Sandro Cortese (Dynavolt Intact GP) and Julian Simon (QMMF Racing Team).

Current Moto3 rider Remy Gardner also enjoyed some time on track on a Moto2 machine, reaching the latter stages of his maiden world championship campaign.

The man second in the Moto3 championship standings Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing Team Moto3) took to the track along with his teammate Andrea Locatelli. The Estrella Galicia 0,0 duo of Fabio Quartararo and Jorge Navarro were also present.

Teams benefited from good weather on Thursday, but after 11 on Friday the rain came, with teams using it to their advantage to collect wet data.
