Unsung performers from the Wakefield Park round.

CycleOnline.com.au highlights three standout performances from the weekend’s fifth round of the 2015 FX-ASC at Wakefield Park. Radar isn’t intended to be strictly about the winners, it’s about the unsung racers that we spot performing above expectations on any given race weekend.

Kyle Buckley (SA Kawasaki Bcperformance) – Supersport, 4th overall:
Winning Supersport overall on Saturday made for a surprise result in mixed conditions, however his final race win on Sunday in the dry signified his arrival at the front of the pack altogether. Keep an eye on Buckley across the closing rounds as his confidence continues to mount.

Brad Swallow (Tapout/Duspeed/ Flip & Flo/Campton Excavations/WRP Kawasaki) – Supersport, 8th overall:
Eighth overall via a trio of eighth place race results in Supersport on Sunday (he was also eighth overall in Formula Oz!) wasn’t the highlight of Brad Swallow’s weekend at Wakefield Park, but the race win on Saturday morning was. The rest of his AFX-SBK round didn’t go so well, but it was an encouraging result to open his account.

Craig McMartin (Racers Edge Performance/Craig McMartin Racing Ducati) – Pro-Twins, 1st overall:
We don’t see multiple-time national champion on track too often these days, but when is does come to play in the FX-ASC he displays exactly why he’s so successful in the Pro-Twins ranks on his immaculate 1299 Panigale. McMartin swept all three races on Sunday.
