Dual Australian Superbike Champion Josh Waters is on the search for a new home in 2016 after the Bennetts Suzuki team announced this morning it’s signed triple British Superbike title winner Ryuichi Kiyonari alongside Tommy Bridewell.

Waters largely struggled this season on board the factory-supported GSX-R1000 on his way to 25th in the standings. He’s yet to secure a new deal for next year and has conceded his future is unlikely to be in the UK.

“I have no news yet, just waiting to hear back from people,” Waters told CycleOnline.com.au. “Before I came home I sent the majority of our stuff back to Australia, so I knew we wouldn’t be going back. I’ve been looking at Asia and this new Australian series looks good, but it’s hard. I don’t know where I will be at this point.”

Meanwhile, Kiyonari and Bridewell mark an all-new line-up for Suzuki in the BSB, as Christian Iddon has effectively switched seats with Bridewell to partner the returning Michael Laverty at Tyco BMW.
