Australia’s Glenn Scott will spend a second full season contesting the World Supersport Championship in 2016 after signing a prized deal with Team Lorini Italia Honda to campaign a CBR600RR.

Scott, 24, had a positive debut last year with the private AARK Racing effort and will further benefit this season with the support of the longtime international Team Lorini outfit.

“I am very excited to sign with Team Lorini as they have an extremely professional outfit and are a very hard working team,” Scott said. “I have a very good feeling about my year ahead and this is a really positive step forward in my career.

“Lorini Honda have been racing and competing on the world stage for many years. They have a wealth of knowledge in the Supersport class and I feel that this will be a massive boost for my 2016 campaign.

“I will be lucky enough to have a teammate this season, which I think will be a great advantage as I have never had one in the past. This will help with the development of the bike and my riding throughout the season.”

Following his first world championship entry in 2015, Scott will enter the 13-round series this year with just two circuits – Monza, Italy and Lausitzring, Germany – to learn.
