Positive start to Scott’s first World Superbike official test

Glenn Scott press release:

Glenn Scott’s first official test with Team Lorini Honda was nothing short of impressive. “The team is extremely professional, charismatic and it’s also a very relaxed environment, which gives me a world of confidence”, Scott said.

Mondays test was the first time Glenn had worked with Lorini Honda and his first outing on a Supersport bike since the last round in Qatar in 2015, nearly 4 months ago. He ended the day in P15, after having to learn a new electronic system, new suspension – Bitubo, and of course a new set-up of a completely capable top 10 finishing machine. They had a goal of reaching the ‘35’s and they did just that.

Tuesday’s, test saw the team have a technical gremlin follow them for most of the day and strong winds also hindered the team’s performance, meaning they weren’t able to match Mondays time. However, there are plenty more improvements to be made.

“There is so much more to learn from the team and the bike, and I’m feeling really confident that both of them will deliver come Race day on Sunday”, Scott concluded.
