Superstock 1000 FIM Cup regular sidelined in Europe.
Kawasaki agro on Benjan Racing’s Bryan Staring has broken his leg in a motocross training incident, the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup regular undergoing surgery to repair the breaks.
Staring, 28, is recovering in Italy after sustaining the injury over the weekend, breaking his right tibia in multiple places, as well as suffering breaks to the fibula.
“Thanks so much for the huge support here,” Staring wrote. “I had the tibia bolted back together last night and should be well on my way to a good recovery. I really appreciate the well wishes.”
It’s uncertain when Staring will return to action in the nine-round European-based STK1000 series, which continues this weekend at Imola in Italy. He currently sits 19th in the standings following Aragon and Assen.
