The Repsol Honda team has completed a private one-day test on Tuesday at the Misano circuit following last weekend’s San Marino grand prix.

Riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa were able to experience their first taste of the 2017 specification engine while taking advantage of the ideal testing conditions.

The team also continued development of their current Honda RC213V machines as the MotoGP season heads into its final stages.

Marquez currently leads the world championship by 43 points, with teammate Pedrosa sitting in fourth after coming off a surprising victory at San Marino.

Following back-to-back grand prix’s, both riders will now have a weekend off before racing resumes in their home country of Spain for round 14.
