Previewing this weekend's final round of the season.

Form

Our pick:
Troy Herfoss – It’s almost impossible to look past the form that Herfoss has displayed since Morgan Park and into Winton testing. We’re tipping Herfoss will take pole position and win a race, but will just fall short of the title. Although, seeing him sweep the weekend to clinch the championship wouldn’t surprise us one bit.

Next best:
Wayne Maxwell – Considering we said Herfoss will only win one of the two races, the other one will go to current points leader Maxwell, which will be enough to keep him at the top of the ladder. To be honest, it’s just a wild guess because it’s so hard to pick in the circumstances, but Maxwell is going to have to lay it all on the line to take home the number one.

Outside chance:
Glenn Allerton – Allerton has to take pole and win both races this weekend if he wants to take out the title, 11 points outside of the lead at the moment. Will his sheer speed allow that to happen? It’s hard to say. Will wet conditions favour his chances if it rains? Certainly, because he has the least to lose entering this round out of the leading three.

Watch for:
Josh Waters, Mike Jones, Jamie Stauffer, Cru Halliday, Daniel Falzon
