Bike: 2017 MV Agusta F3 RC

MV Agusta releases updated replica of World Supersport racer.

MV Agusta has released images of the new F3 RC (Reparto Corse – Racing Department) with the limited-edition world supersport replica given a styling freshen up while still being available in both 675cc and 800cc three-cylinder capacities.

Emblazoned with the number 37 – that marks the number of constructor’s championships the Italian brand has won – there will be 100 bikes produced in the 675 configuration and 250 in the meatier 800 configuration, with the new colour scheme faithfully reproducing the graphics of the Jules Cluzel and Lorenzo Zanetti’s race bikes.

To certify the originality of each bike, every F3RC is autographed by both riders, #16 Cluzel on the right side panel and #87 Lorenzo Zanetti on the left. The biggest difference between the 2016 and 2017 F3 RCs is the replacement of the AMG decal on the fairing with Motul and coloured numbers in the traditional MV Agusta dark blue.

Full details on the 2017 model as well as prices, Australian availability and final specification is yet to be confirmed with the machine to be unveiled at EICMA in Milan, Italy, in just over three week’s time.
