Bugden extends AFX-SBK advantage in Queensland

Two wins from three races results in another overall victory.

SA Kawasaki BCperformance’s Robbie Bugden stretched his lead in the 2016 Australian FX-Superbike Championship (AFX-SBK) at Queensland Raceway on Saturday.

Bugden won two out of three races at home to take the overall ahead of race one winner Michael Blair (IPONE Yamaha) and Beau Beaton (Racer’s Edge Performance Craig McMartin Racing Ducati).

Mitch Levy (Yamaha) also won two out of three races for the overall, edging final race winner Callum Spriggs (Yamaha), while Chris Quinn (Yamaha) made it an R6 podium sweep.

Other class winners during Saturday’s AFX-SBK round included Sam Condon (Fx-300 Ninja Cup), Simon Galloway (Formula Oz) and Michael McMillan (Pro-Twins/Nakedbikes).
