BMW Motorrad has provided a glimpse of what it’s referring to as ‘the most exclusive BMW motorcycle of all-time’, the HP4 RACE prototype, during the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, overnight.

Boasting a full carbon fibre main frame and carbon fibre rims, the BMW HP4 RACE is due to be manufactured by hand in an exclusive limited series and supplied in the second half of 2017.

“The HP4 RACE will feature the full carbon fibre main frame and carbon fibre rims as shown here,” said BMW Motorrad president Stephan Schaller. “We will reveal more about this model next spring.”

Based upon the S 1000 RR production superbike, BMW Motorrad has the prototype on display at EICMA, however further details at the point in time remain limited.
