Date change for German round at halfway mark.
MotoGP World Championship organisers have announced that the German round of the 2017 series will be held two weeks earlier than originally scheduled.
The date switch, from 16 July back to 2 July, places round nine of the season at Sachsenring, Germany, the weekend following Assen. It also leads into a full month off prior to Brno.
Next year’s MotoGP calendar still remains provisional at this point, with both the British and Malaysian grands prix still subject to contracts being formalised.
