Longtime Australian international Broc Parkes will remain with the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team for the remainder of the 2016/2017 Endurance World Championship (EWC).

Parkes will partner experienced German Max Neukirchner, last year’s IDM champion Marvin Fritz and young Japanese racer Kohta Nozane.

The team’s title chances – and Suzuka 8 Hours hopes – are expected to be bolstered with confirmation that they will switch to Bridgestone tyres, with direct factory support from Japan.

Round one was contested at the Bol d’Or 24 Hours in France last September, where the YART squad was forced out with an engine problem early on, while Suzuki Endurance Racing Team claimed victory.
