Win an RC 390 within the Swann Super Series entry-level class.
The Swann Super Series’ new-look 400 Supersport championship division will feature a KTM RC 390 as its major prize for KTM-mounted riders who take part in the revamped entry-level category.
Replacing the popular FX300 Ninja Cup in the revised three-event championship that still spans six rounds in total, 400 Supersport caters for a broad assortment of sub-400cc models.
Top KTM finisher in the final standings will be awarded a brand new RC 390, valued at $6995 including on-road costs. Plus, if a KTM rider manages to capture the title outright, they will receive a $2000 entry-fee voucher for the 2018 series, while placing second awards a $1500 entry-fee voucher and third a $1000 entry-fee voucher.
“In line with KTM’s global strategy to support and encourage the future generation of road racers, we are delighted to offer a brand new KTM RC 390 to the top-placed KTM rider in the Swann Super Series,” KTM Australia general manager Jeff Leisk said. “The KTM RC 390 is the perfect bike to start your racing career on, unmatched performance and handling that confirms KTM’s ‘Ready to Race’ philosophy.”
Australian Road & Track Rider Promotions (ARTRP) managing director Terry O’Neill commented: “It’s great that KTM have decided that they want to support competitors who race their RC 390 in the new 400 Supersport class. These excellent prizes provide great incentive and an excellent reward for riders who compete on a KTM.
“When writing the rules for the new 400 Supersport class we have taken on-board feedback from a number of competitors about what they want and primarily most were worried about the rules favouring one brand over another and allowing technical changes that might make the class too expensive to compete in. Bearing that in mind the rules were re-written several times to make sure the class was as close as possible to a level playing field, while allowing sensible changes so riders can get the most out of their brand of choice without breaking their budgets.”
