Suzuki Endurance Racing Team rider succumbs to injuries.
Suzuki Endurance Racing Team’s (SERT) Anthony Delhalle has been tragically killed in an incident while testing for the 2016-2017 Endurance World Championship (EWC) at Circuit Paul Armagnac in France.
Frenchman Delhalle, 35, was a five-time EWC champion – 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 – with the dominant SERT squad, survived by his wife and two children.
Delhalle, along with SERT partners Vincent Phillipe and Etienne Masson, won the opening round of the 2016-2017 championship last September at the Bol d’Or 24 Hours.
