Team Honda Racing press release:
Tune in this Sunday 19th March to SBS for LIVE free-to-air coverage of the Australian Superbike Championship.
The 2017 ASBK Superbike grid is brimming with talent. Numerous Australian champions are donning the leathers, including our very own 2016 Superbike champion, Troy Herfoss and 2010 Superbike champion, Bryan Staring. The 2017 season is arguably one of the biggest seasons for many years.
Round 2 kicks off today with Practice at the Wakefield Park circuit and Crankt Protein Honda Racing is ready to roll. Both #1 Troy Herfoss and #67 Bryan Staring tested the Honda CBR1000RR SP at the circuit recently and are confident of a strong event.
Team Manager, Shaun Clarke is optimistic heading into the event saying, “I’m looking forward to a good weekend with the team. We had some positive results from the test last week and took a lot away in terms of direction with the bike heading into this event. Now it’s a matter of bringing it all together. I know we have a strong package for Round 2 and I’m really excited that everyone can watch the racing on Sunday live on SBS.”
Don’t miss a moment of the action at Wakefield Park on Sunday. Tune in to SBS 2pm – 4pm AEDT to watch Herfoss and Staring take the Crankt Protein Honda CBR1000RR SP to the limit for Round 2 ASBK.
