Luke Mossey has waited for his debut win in the MCE British Superbike Championship and on Monday the JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider made it a dream double at Brands Hatch Indy.

Mossey won the opening race ahead of teammate Leon Haslam and Christian Iddon (Tyco BMW) after pole-setter James Ellison (McAMS Yamaha) crashed out of the lead.

Top of the Aussies was Jason O’Halloran (Honda Racing) in seventh, trailed by Josh Brookes (Anvil Hire Yamaha) in 10th. Billy McConnell (FS-3 Racing Kawasaki) crossed the line in P18.

Come race two it was once again Mossey who was victorious, with Iddon this time getting the better of Haslam for second. Brookes was a vast improver for fourth, O’Halloran fifth and McConnell 17th.

Of the Aussies in the other categories, Benjamin Currie (Kawasaki) went 4-5-4 and Sam Clarke (Yamaha) 9-9-DNF in Supersport. Clarke sustained a concussion and a broken ankle in a multi-rider crash during race three.

The Superstock 1000 class saw Brayden Elliott (Yamaha) go 19-16, in Superstock 600 Arthur Sissis (Kawasaki) claimed 10th and in the Ducati Cup Levi Day rode to 8-5 results.
