Australians Brookes and O'Halloran complete the podium.
Shane Byrne (Be Wiser Ducati) has delivered his strongest performance of the 2017 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship season so far to claim his first double win of the season at Brands Hatch.
Byrne was dominant all weekend long, beating Australian’s Josh Brookes (Anvil Hire Yamaha) and Jason O’Halloran (Honda Racing) in both outings.
In the first race Leon Haslam (JG Speedfit Kawasaki) and Dan Linfoot (Honda Racing) concluded the top five, while race two saw Jake Dixon (RAF Reserves Kawasaki) and John Hopkins (Moto Rapido Ducati) round out the first five to cross the line.
Australian Billy McConnell (FS-3 Racing Kawasaki) completed the weekend with 11-16 results, and now sits 21st in the championship standings after missing the first two rounds.
The remaining Australian riders saw Benjamin Currie (Kawasaki) finish an impressive sixth in Supersport, while a crash earlier in the weekend forced Sam Clarke (Yamaha) to make any early retirement from the meeting.
Brayden Elliott (Yamaha) recorded a DNF in the Superstock 1000 class, as Arthur Sissis (Yamaha) raced to 17th in Superstock 600. Levi Day (Ducati) lodged an excellent 5-3 scorecard in the Ducati TriOptions Cup to conclude the weekend.
