Australian MotoGP talent aiming for top 10 finishes in second half.
Australian favourite Jack Miller will return to MotoGP racing this weekend at Brno, Czech Republic, following a busy four-week break in the prestigious series.
Miller, who’s coming off a fourth place finish at his first Suzuka 8 Hours last weekend, says he’s feeling fit and ready for the second half of the MotoGP World Championship, where he’s aiming to be inside the top 10 for the remainder of the year.
“It’s been a busy four week break,” Miller explained. “After Sachsenring I flew straight to Japan for five days of testing for the Suzuka 8 Hours, then it was home to Australia for my brother’s wedding before heading back to Japan for my first Endurance World Championship race.
“So a lot of riding during the break but I’m fit and feeling good and now we’re here in Brno ready to race MotoGP again. The goal is to get the second half of the season started in the same way we started the first half, with some top ten finishes and a good points haul.”
Miller’s best result has come at Qatar’s season-opener where he finished eighth, while he currently sits 12th in the series standings.
