MotoGP regular hopeful of top 10 finish this weekend in Great Britain.
Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider Jack Miller is hopeful of getting his 2017 MotoGP World Championship campaign back on track this weekend at Silverstone’s 12th round of the prestigious series.
The Australian talent crashed out of the previous grand prix in Austria, leaving the Queensland-native eager to land himself where he started the season off inside the top 10.
“The build up to Silverstone last year wasn’t ideal, as I was still struggling with the injury I picked up in Austria,” said Miller. “This year I head to England fully fit and feeling good after a week spent training in Andorra.
“It’s the first time I’ve been back here since I left for the Dutch TT in June and it’s been good to get out on the bicycle and do some proper training.
“We need to get the season back on track at the British grand prix after two difficult races in the Czech Republic and Austria. We started the season finishing regularly inside the top ten and that’s where we need to be again this weekend.”
Miller currently sits 13th in the championship standings, tied on points for 12th with Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini). The youthful rider is slated to make a move to the Octo Pramac Ducati Racing outfit for the 2018 MotoGP World Championship.
