Dorna Sports CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta will travel to Bangkok this week and finalise arrangements for the MotoGP World Championship to race in Thailand from 2018.

MotoGP will race in Thailand between 2018-2020 in an agreement made with the Governor of Sport Authority of Thailand, Sakon Wannapong.

The Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) – also operated by Dorna Sports – has been visiting Thailand’s Chang International Circuit in Buriram since 2015.
