The Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup has unveiled its provisional calendar for the 2018 season, which will see the prestigious program continue with a six-stop series that will run alongside varying world championship events.

Testing begins in February at Sepang International Circuit before the riders head to Qatar for the season opener alongside the MotoGP World Championship.

Following a race weekend alongside WorldSBK at Buriram and one event to be announced, the calendar then ends the year alongside MotoGP once more – at Buriram, Motegi and Sepang, with the curtain coming down in Malaysia for what has become the traditional final round of the year.

Australians Senna Agius, Benjamin Baker and Billy Van Eerde are amongst 14 riders invited to contest the series after successfully being chosen at last month’s selection event.
