Australian MotoGP ace Jack Miller is hopeful of finishing inside the top 10 in the standings following this weekend’s Valencia at Valencia, which will mark his final outing with the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS squad.

Miller currently sits 12th in the MotoGP World Championship, and is 11 points shy of 10th place’s Jonas Folger (Monster Yamaha Tech 3), who has been sidelined for the past three rounds with a mystery illness and it not yet confirmed for the weekend’s event.

The number 43 understands it will be tough to break the top 10, but believes anything is possible, particularly on his favoured Spanish circuit.

“Finishing 10th in the championship is a big ask, but anything is possible as they say,” said Miller.” At least the weather looks good, with the forecast promising dry conditions all weekend. I like the Valencia circuit, which is one of the few left hand circuits we race at during the season.

“And I’m feeling good on the bike after the flyaway races, so let’s see how we go. Obviously I want to finish out the season strong and mark my last race with Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS with a good result on Sunday.”

The Queensland-native will transition to the Ducati-backed Octo Pramac Racing squad following the completion of this season, which was announced back in August.
