Australian gun Jack Miller’s newfound confidence with Octo Pramac Racing Ducati will launch him into the European winter break with extra enthusiasm on his side, following a second successful test aboard the Desmosedici GP.

Miller managed to effectively match highly-rated teammate Danilo Petrucci at last week’s Jerez test as he continues to apply his talent to this year’s Ducati, taking all the right steps toward what’s shaping up to be his best season yet in 2018.

“After the two tests in Valencia and Jerez, I’m going through the winter break with great enthusiasm,” Miller commented. “I immediately felt good with the team and the feeling with the bike was positive. Of course there will be a lot to work to do in the winter tests to get competitive at the beginning of the season. If I have to be honest though, I am very confident because the first sensations were really good.”

Miller’s quickest lap-time in Spain across the two days was 1m38.876s – two-tenths from Petrucci – riding 62 laps on the opening day and 65 on the second to complete what was an intensive test schedule to round out this year’s post-season testing schedule.
