Yamaha’s prototype specification Tenere 700 World Raid edition has stolen the show at the 2018 Tenere Tragics Bay to Bush Run, making a one-off Australian appearance.

Ridden by Yamalube Yamaha Official Rally Team’s Rod Faggotter on return from the recent Dakar Rally, the Tenere 700 World Raid is on its international tour.

Initially displayed as a ‘T7’ concept bike at EICMA in 2016, Yamaha unleashed the Tenere 700 World Raid prototype during last year’s Milan show in Italy. The lightweight adventure model has captured vast attention globally since its reveal.

This year’s Tenere Tragics event – the Bay to Bush Run – is taking place from Queensland’s Fraser Coast this week, where 75 participants were thrilled with the surprise national appearance of the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid prototype, including a blast on Rainbow Beach.
