This weekend’s Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) round at The Bend Motorsport Park will feature three YMI Superbike races over the course of the weekend alongside the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC).

While standalone rounds of the ASBK regularly have a pair of extended premier class races, the ASBK/ARRC double-header will see the domestic championship revert to a three-race format traditionally used at Phillip Island’s World Superbike round.

All three of the national Superbike races will be 10 laps in duration around the modern 4.95-kilometre International Circuit layout in South Australia, with the first of those due for Saturday afternoon before the final two take place on Sunday.

Alongside the ASBK Superbikes this weekend will be the domestic Supersport and Supersport 300 categories – both also featuring three races apiece – in addition to the ARRC’s 600cc SuperSport, Asia Production 250 and Underbone 150 categories, which will each contest two races of increased duration over the weekend.
