Bramich fastest on Friday in Supersport 300 qualifying

Yamaha talent claims provisional pole position in South Australia.

Victorian Tom Bramich has taken provisional pole position for the Australian Supersport 300 Championship at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia this afternoon.

Bramich rode his bLU cRU 300 Racing Yamaha YZF-R3 to a 2m11.445s lap-time around the 4.95-kilometre circuit, edging fellow bLU cRU racer Zac Levy (Yamaha) by just 0.026s.

In third was Thursday’s fastest, Hunter Ford (Yamaha), as Locky Taylor (Yamaha) and leading South Australian Olly Simpson (Yamaha) filled the top five placings. Championship leader Oli Bayliss (Kawasaki) rode his Cube Racing entry to seventh, directly behind Seth Crump (KTM).

Qualifying two of the Supersport 300 ranks will take place from 8:30am local time on Saturday morning, with two seven-lap races scheduled to take place later in the day to commence the weekend’s action.
