Yamaha Racing Team Asean’s Yuki Ito continues to shine in the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) SuperSports 600cc ranks, claiming pole position at The Bend Motorsport Park.
Ito has been ARRC benchmark throughout the weekend in South Australia, his 1m56.591s in the lone qualifier quick enough to secure P1.
Behind him was British championship regular Joseph Francis (Webike Ikazuchi Racing Yamaha) and just 0.099s in arrears, as Taiga Hada (Idemitsu Honda Racing India by T.Pro TenlO) slotted into third.
Australian wildcards Broc Pearson (Yamaha) and Tom Toparis (Cube Racing Kawasaki) will start out of 16th and 17th, with Scott Nicholson (Next Gen Motorsports Suzuki) 22nd and series regular Patrick Li (Webike Ikazuchi Racing Yamaha) 23rd.
In the Asia Production 250s it was Rheza Danica Ahrens (Astra Honda Racing Team Honda) on top at 2m08.039s, from teammates Mario Suryo Aji and Awhin Sanjaya. The Underbone 150 pole belonged to Md Helmi Azman (CK Rapido Hi Rev Honda Racing Team) with a 2m18.857s.
