Ford and Bramich split Saturday Supersport 300 victories

Yamaha domination so far this weekend at The Bend Motorsport Park.

A pair of thrilling Australian Supersport 300 Championship races at The Bend Motorsport Park on Saturday saw bLU cRU 300 Racing Yamaha duo Hunter Ford and Tom Bramich trade victories to open the round.

In race one earlier this morning it was Ford who edged pole-setter Bramich to the line by 0.311s, with Zac Levy (Yamaha) making his way by opening lap leader Olly Simpson (Yamaha) in the final turns to snatch third. Fifth came another R3 in Locky Taylor – just 1.2s from victory.

Race two to cap-off proceedings for today saw new points-leader Bramich return the favour on Ford, crossing the finish-line 0.291s ahead, as Harry Khouri (Yamaha) improved from P6 to third in race two. Simpson and first of the non-R3 finishers, Ben Bramich (KTM) completed the top five.
