Three-time world Superbike champion Troy Bayliss is among the list of riders who will contest the Race of Champions event hosted during World Ducati Week on Saturday, 21 July, at the Misano circuit in Italy.

A host of renowned Ducati’s riders, past and present, will compete in the challenge, including MotoGP and WorldSBK riders Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo, Danilo Petrucci, Jack Miller, Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri.

The selected Ducati riders will engage in a thrilling race as they go head to head on limited-edition Panigale V4 S motorcycles with a special configuration, with a full race schedule in place from free practice through to the final podium.

Bayliss returned to full-time competition in this year’s Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK), where he currently sits fifth in the standings following the first three rounds.

World Ducati Week is a three-day celebration of the Italian manufacturer where attendees can experience test rides, entertainment, racing and most importantly an appreciation of the brand’s past and present motorcycles.
