Yamaha Racing Team’s Cru Halliday picked up where he left off in Kawasaki Australian Supersport Championship practice at Hidden Valley Raceway in Darwin on Friday, topping all three sessions.

Halliday managed to lower his lap-time to a new best lap of 1m08.430s in the third practice sessions this afternoon, placing him ahead of Cube Racing’s Tom Toparis (Kawasaki), who was P2 throughout today’s running.

Behind the two title candidates was standout rookie Max Croker (Suzuki) on his Mladin Racing GSX-R, with international Lachlan Epis (Kawasaki) returning home to place fourth as the final rider within a second of Halliday at the front.
