MV Agusta Australia press release:
MV Agusta Australia & New Zealand are pleased to announce that stunt rider Lukey Luke will be performing at this years ‘Blessing of The Bikes’, which will be held at the San Remo foreshore on Saturday 20th October.
Lukey’s shows will feature the awesome all-new MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR, as ridden by Lukey at the Phillip Island round of the World Superbikes earlier this year.
MV Agusta Australia’s Brand Manager Mal Jarrett commented, “We are excited that Lukey will be out there ripping it up at the Blessing of the Bikes. We are avid supporters of this event and appreciate and reckognise the effort that Marcel and Sabine of Inline 4 Cafe go to each year to support the motorcycling fraternity and in remembering those riders that are no longer with us.
“Lukey Luke also commented “I can’t wait to get out there and shred tyres! I absolutely love this bike! I used to have to run two bikes to put on a decent show i.e a small bike for the tight technical tricks and a large bike for the big rolling burnouts etc, but on the Brutale 800 RR I can do everything that I would normally do on the one bike, it really is the best of both worlds.
“When I rode Brutale 800 RR at Phillip Island it was bog-stock and fresh out of the crate, so I was a little bit limited in what tricks I could do on it. However, in the off-season I have made some mods to the bike that will enable me to get up to my usual hi-jinks. See you there Melbourne!”
