Current MotoGP ace Jack Miller and three-time world superbike champion Troy Bayliss have completed the Race of Champions event hosted during World Ducati Week in Misano, Italy, at the weekend.

The invitational race saw a selection of current and former Ducati MotoGP and WorldSBK riders line-up aboard specially prepared Panigale V4 S machines with racing configurations and dedicated liveries.

The rider list included Jorge Lorenzo, Andrea Dovizioso, Marco Melandri, Danilo Petrucci and more, but it was MotoGP test rider Michele Pirro who took top honours ahead of Tito Rabat and Javier Forés.

Australia’s Miller was fourth in the five-lap encounter ahead of Melandri, while an early off-track excursion saw Bayliss recover for 12th position.

World Ducati Week is a party that celebrates the Italian manufacturer’s history, where Ducati fans can unite in a weekend of racing, entertainment and historic displays.
