The Distinguishes Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) has opened entries for the 2018 running of the niche event that sees riders dapper up in suits and ride classic motorcycles in an effort raise funds for men’s health.

Scheduled on Sunday, 30 September, the global charity event shines the spotlight on important health issues in over 650 cities across 95 countries.

With close to one-million men losing their lives annually from suicide and prostate cancer, the annual event is calling on the motorcycle community to stop men from dying too young.

Over 120,000 men and women are anticipated to dress in their finest attire and ride vintage and classically styled motorcycles for charity in a city near you, to raise funds and awareness to prostate cancer and mental health on behalf of official charity partner, The Movember Foundation.

Founded in 2012 by Mark Hawwa in Sydney, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has raised over $13-million USD for men’s health, with a goal of adding a further $6M USD to the cause throughout the 2018 fundraising campaign.

To promote participation and boost funds raised, rewards are granted to highest fundraisers, with prizes including motorcycles and luxury watches from major partners Triumph Motorcycles and Zenith Watches. For more information, visit www.gentlemansride.com.
