It’s time to go bananas – as the new-generation Monkey hits Honda dealers this week!

The Monkey is one of the most-loved Hondas of all time and for good reason; the 1960s original two-wheeled rascal was built to generate ear-to-ear smiles and it succeeded, boasting a cult following to this day.

Now we welcome a new Monkey era, built for the way we ride today but with all of its former retro styled glory and beautiful craftsmanship. A modern day take on that little happy go lucky two wheeler that captured hearts around the world.

The new Monkey is certainly a premium collectable anyone can enjoy with its 125cc fuel-injected engine, which offers Honda’s unmatched reputation for engines. The Monkey may be compact,
but this single-overhead-cam design is a giant in terms of performance and reliability and the four-speed manual gives riders the durability, control and efficiency of a conventional motorcycle.

A huge improvement over the original is, just like a top-of-the-line Sportsbike, the new 2019 Monkey features an inverted hydraulic fork front suspension for control and road feel.

The addition of twin rear shocks, combined with the fat tyres and cushy seat, smooths out the roughest pavement in the urban jungle.

Forget about big, bulky taillights—the Monkey’s LED lamp is bright and clear—plus, it’s round like a coconut!
