Sunday November 10 is around the bend, and what better way to raise funds for the world’s biggest men’s health charity than by filling the tank and going for a ride?
Yamaha Motor Australia is the main supporter of Ride Sunday – a charity event whose goal is to raise as much as possible for the Movember Foundation. Funds raised will go towards tackling three main issues – prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide prevention.

Ride Sunday is open to all styles of motorcycles. Riders can join one of Ride Sunday’s flagship events, create their own rides, or ride solo – you choose. Simply register on the Ride Sunday site, create your ride – or join an existing one – and start raising funds…

Note that as an incentive for riders to get involved with fund raising, Ride Sunday is giving away a new YZF-R1 supersports weapon.

The three Ride Sunday flagship events are in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. If you want to join one of these you need to first register. The Sydney event starts at Audley Weir in the Royal National Park and ends at the Australian Motorcycle Festival in Wollongong – where showgoers will be able to test ride a range of Yamaha motorcycles, fun bikes and WaveRunners.
