Bikebiz Yamaha guest Sean Condon has claimed the Supersport pole position in Goulburn’s third round of the 2022 Mi-Bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) at Wakefield Park.

Condon posted a 59.300s in qualifying one and that would remain the benchmark this afternoon, 0.162s clear of John Lytras (Yamaha).

Third position belonged to Ty Lynch (Yamaha), who was top of the charts in Q2, but his time was also set earlier, while Scott Nicholson (Yamaha) and Tom Bramich (Yamaha) were the top five. A shoulder injury sustained on Friday has ruled Olly Simpson (Yamaha) out for the weekend.

In the opening races of the round, Yamaha-mounted Cameron Dunker won Supersport 300 this afternoon from Glenn Nelson (Yamaha) and James Jacobs (Kawasaki).

Dunker also won the first R3 Cup outing this afternoon ahead of Glenn Nelson and Hayden Nelson, while race one of the Oceania Junior Cup belonged to Harrison Watts from Hudson Thompson and Cameron Rende.
