Following the announcement of Jack Miller’s Mi-Bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) entry at The Bend, international riders Josh Hook, Marcel Schroetter and Harrison Voight have been confirmed for the November event.

Hook recently secured his second FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) crown with F.C.C. TSR Honda France and competed at the South Australian round last year for Penrite Honda Racing.

German rider Marcel Schroetter is a regular in the Moto2 World Championship and will make his ASBK debut in the premier class, while Voight, 16, will race on home soil in Supersport after a season spent in Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and JuniorGP World Championship with Sic58 Squadra Corse.

Voight raced a 600 at the event last year and showed great pace while training on a Supersport machine domestically before heading overseas again for 2022. He also made his Moto3 World Championship debut at Misano earlier this month and finished P23.

“It will be great to welcome back Josh and Harrison to the ASBK paddock and for Marcel I am sure it will be an interesting debut in both the Championship and a first time at the world-class Bend circuit,” Motorcycling Australia CEO Peter Doyle explained.

“I want to commend Jack for his efforts to bring these quality riders to our event and for fans of Australian motorsport, there’s no better reason to come along or tune in to see what will be an epic finale to season 2022!”

Each of the three riders is closely linked to Miller who seemingly had a great influence on their attendance for round seven of this year’s ASBK, which will take place on 25-27 November.
