Emerging Australian Oli Bayliss will switch teams for his second season in the Supersport World Championship after signing with D34G Racing to remain onboard a Ducati Panigale V2 in 2023.

Bayliss, 19, debuted in the series this year as part of the Barni Racing Team, claiming four top-10 finishes on his way to 16th in the final point-standings.

“I’m super-happy to be going into the new season with D34G racing run by Davide Giugliano,” Bayliss said. “2023 will be my second year in the WorldSSP category and with Ducati machinery. I’m looking forward to building on the experience made in my rookie season, keeping my progression moving and make it a good one. I’ll train hard during the off-season to be ready for the first test and cannot wait to get started.”

Next year will mark former factory Ducati WorldSBK rider Giugliano’s second season running a team in WorldSSP, due to step up to a complete campaign with Bayliss, while Maximilian Kofler will join the team for the European-based WorldSSP Challenge rounds next season.
