The covers have been lifted on a striking new testing livery for Penrite Honda Racing that will feature on the Fireblade of Troy Herfoss during the Mi-Bike Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) pre-season test commencing today in Sydney.

The special livery pays tribute to the rebranding of major sponsor Elite Roads, a Victorian-based road construction company that has been involved with the team since 2018.

“We’re rolling out for the year with the same team we’ve grown to love, and we’ve got the new branding for Elite Roads on the bike for the test too which is great as Deon [Coote, team owner] and Elite Roads have been a huge part of the team as a sponsor for many years,” Herfoss said.

“I can’t wait to get out on the track, the new logo looks really stylish and the bike will look unbelievable under lights. It’s good to be back at Sydney Motorsport Park for the first outing of the year 100 percent fit, it feels like I was at Tailem Bend only yesterday. The team’s working hard as normal and we’re just picking up where we left off from last year, heading into the year extremely competitive, shooting for another championship.”

Finishing last year on a positive note with victory in race one at The Bend, Herfoss will be vying for ASBK title number three as the 2023 national road racing calendar officially gets underway today at Sydney Motorsport Park.
