AMX Superstores will host an AMX Motorcycle Parking Zone at the Bathurst 12 Hour this weekend, catering to two-wheeled fans going to watch Valentino Rossi during the iconic event.

The nine-time world champion will race a BMW M Team WRT BMW  in his first Australian race outside of the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, and his first here on four wheels between 3-5 February.

“We’re excited to be involved in this great even,” AMX business manager Rob Farrimond said. “With Rossi racing, we are just as keen as everyone to see if he can translate two-wheel success onto four-wheels. If you are riding in, park your bike safely and come see us at our tent in the Motorcycle Parking Zone and say hi.”

The AMX Motorcycle Parking Zone will be located just outside the famous National Motor Racing Museum at Murray’s Corner, and AMX will also have displays of some riding gear around from Dainese, Shoei, Dririder and many other premium brands. Additionally, 12 Hour fans will also be able to purchase some very special limited VR46 gear and fly the flag for one of the all-time greatest.

“With the massive increase in interest from the motorcycle community due to Valentino Rossi competing in the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, it was important that we look at an area for our fans to park their motorcycles at the event,” added Bathurst 12 Hour event director Shane Rudzis. “The AMX Motorcycle Parking Zone is a great addition to the event.”
